Watch_Dogs Bad Blood - Review
It is always a little sad when a game comes to and end and you want to know what the characters are doing now. Watch_Dogs ended that way for me back in May but I knew more content was coming thanks to the Season Pass, well now we have the first of the major pieces in the form of Bad Blood.
Bad Blood sees you take the reins of T-Bone, the genius hacker with a penchant of art and explosives from the main game and sets you on an all new path in the city of Chicago. T-Bone is all set to leave Chicago behind, the story even starts up with T-Bone wiping everything Blume has on him from their systems and upon escaping to his little hide away the story kicks into gear with a phone call from Frewer. Frewer has gotten himself into a little bit of trouble and believes T-Bone can help and from here you are taken on a little story about friends, redemption and owning up to your past, but the problem is T-Bone’s past is not something we knew much about, so making it a focal point for the story was a little much.
Of course I can’t say a lot here, because stories should always be experienced rather than explained, thankfully the location of the story is a lot more impressive than it. Chicago is the same location from the main story, in fact anyone who remembered the layout from there will be happy to know that it is the same here. There are minor differences, open construction on buildings, some new artwork around, but all that is be expected as it is set for 1 month after Aiden’s story. While the main story here will only run you around 5-6 hours, the Bad Blood DLC does come with a heap of new side quests and missions to tackle.
These missions are broken up into two types, the investigation kind, which those who sunk time into the main game will know very well and the muscle for hire type. The investigation missions are the most interesting from a player point of view, because they offer up something extra, answers to questions of what happened to the characters. There is a series of missions where Blume has put out a bounty on Aiden Pierce and T-Bone decides to do what he can to help his friend, while another series will have you tracking down someone who is threatening DedSec. The other missions are more like the Fixers from the main game, but this time you are getting them from a Police detective, where she asks you to disable members of a gang, deliver car and such.
Bad Blood is great, because it gives T-Bone a chance to shine and adds more content to the experience. It is a shame that the story has no real punch and the twist and conclusion are pretty lacklustre. If you want more of what the main game offers you are in luck, but if you are looking for the next leap, you won’t find it here.

The Cons
-The story is not the best, so don't expect a lot
-It is mostly just more of the same gameplay, so if you didn't like the main game, this won't change your mind
