Turtle Beach are making quality sound even better with the Recon 70

Turtle Beach have announced that gaming is going to become clearer, with the release of the Recon 70 gaming headset, out now in Black and coming in White and for Nintendo Switch in April.

“The Recon 50 has been the best-selling wired gaming headset in the U.S. and Canada for the past two years1, and the all-new Recon 70 builds upon its predecessor with a refined design and our great flip-to-mute mic, all for the same price,” said Juergen Stark, CEO, Turtle Beach. “The Recon 70 is also available in more colour options and is compatible with all gaming systems, so we believe we’ll see the Recon 70 continue the Recon 50’s trend of ‘best-seller’ with enough time in the market.”

Each of the units available now come in either a blue or green accented look, perfect for your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One respectively, but no matter the colour, they are packed with 40mm over the ear speaker cups, that are wrapped with synthetic leather and cushioned to provide comfort for those marathon sessions.

Regardless of the model you pick up, each has a 3.5mm jack, meaning it will work with every console, PC, mobile device and walkman, should you want it too. For those looking to make sure they are heard, the mic that comes with the device now features the same flip-up to mute tech that the more advanced Turtle Beach headsets have had for a while.

The black ones with the green and blue accents are out now, the one with the red, the white and maroon ones, are out this April. The best news though, each headset is priced at $59.95, making it one of the cheapest headsets on the market.
