30 years later Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is getting a full remake
As part of their trio of announcements during the recent Nintendo Direct, Square Enix have revealed that Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is getting a full remake and coming this October 24. Check out the trailer for the game below.
In Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, players will embark on a multi-generation adventure to protect and expand their empire. After the player’s homeland is attacked by one of the legendary Seven Heroes, a branching story of vengeance and redemption will unfold where the player must fight to protect everything they hold dear. With the free-form scenario system the SaGa franchise is known for, the player’s choices will impact how the story develops, including who inherits the imperial throne with each successive generation.
The game has been developed by the team behind the Trials of Mana remake, so you know that the team will have taken the utmost care. The game features a complete visual overhaul, gameplay enhancements and more. One of the things to look forward to is that Kenji Ito is making rearranged compositions for the game, but the original music will also remain in the game.
When the game arrives this October 24, it will land on Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
