ASUS ROG is bringing three very impressive OLED screens to gamers
As part of the CES 2024 reveals, ASUS have announced three new monitors, each offering something new including the worlds first 480hz OLED screen.
The models on offer are:
the 39-inch ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM 800R-curved monitor
the 32-inch PG32UCDP the world’s first dual-mode gaming monitor with a Frame Rate Boost feature that lets users switch between 4K 240 Hz and FHD 480 Hz modes
the PG27AQDP, the world’s fastest 27-inch OLED monitor
The PG39WCDM, is a 39-inch ultrawide 240 Hz 800R-curved OLED gaming monitor, and sports a resolution of 3440 x 1440. It also includes the built-in Smart KVM, which allows users to control two devices seamlessly with a keyboard and mouse, and USB 3.2 connectivity enables rapid file transfers. Extensive connectivity options, including DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC), HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90 W Power Delivery, make the ROG Swift OLED a versatile hub for gaming setups.
The PG32UCDP, will be the first ROG monitor to offer Dolby Vision. It is of course, the world's first dual-mode gaming monitor with a Frame Rate Boost feature that allows users to switch from 4K 240 Hz up to FHD 480 Hz at any time.
Finally the PG27AQDP, is build as the worlds fastest 27inch monitor, which as it sports a 480hz refresh rate, might just be true. The screen and all the others sport AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, along with Extreme Low Motion Blur, to ensure that the gameplay is as smooth as it can be.
There are no prices or release dates for the screens, so we just have to wait and see, but I am very interested in checking out that PG32UCDP. Though hopefully all the screens get better names before they release.
