Borderlands 4 gets a new look, at least in concept form

Over the weekend was Nintendo Live.. I mean PAX West and as always Gearbox were on hand as normal and during their panel, which you can watch here, the team released some new concept art for the upcoming Borderlands 4.

The panel itself was hosted by Andrew Reiner (Global Creative Executive Officer), featured Randy Varnell (Chief Creative Officer), Anthony Nicholson (Senior Project Producer), Sam Winkler (Narrative Director), Adam May (Art Director), and Graeme Timmins (Creative Director).

As you might be able to guess from the art below, the team were talking about how they are attempting to strike a balance in creating a new entry in this iconic series while staying true to what players have enjoyed for more than a decade.

While the art pieces below look cool, there is no word on if they are for actual locations that players can explore in the game, or tonal pieces to help shape the direction the game is aiming for. In any event, they are cool pieces of art,
