Call of Duty Black Ops 6 confirmed as the next entry

Unlike the 2023 entry for Call of Duty, which was revealed in August and then released in November, the reveal of the next entry has kicked off now with a simulated attack on Mount Rushmore in the USA. This marks the start of the reveal process for Call of Duty Black Ops 6, which will get a deep dive this June after the Xbox Showcase.

The tease video, which is below, has nothing about the game in it, except ties back to the last Black Ops game, which had to endings, one where you told the truth and the other where you lied.

There are no platforms confirmed for the game, but Xbox, PlayStation and PC are almost 100% going to happen, the only real question will be if its both generations of the consoles or just the new ones. As for Switch, while Microsoft struck a deal to bring Call of Duty to Switch platforms over the next 10 years, it is highly unlikely that it will happen this year.

In the meantime, the official Call of Duty Twitter account is releasing a lot of little videos, that show off newspapers, posters and more, all stating The Truth Lies. So it would not surprise me to see some of these popping up around the country, or at least in Sydney and Melbourne, as that is as far as marketing for games ever gets.
