Call of Duty Vanguard is hosting a multiplayer alpha session this weekend on PlayStation
Activision have announced that Call of Duty Vanguard, the recently announced next entry in the long running series, will get an Alpha multiplayer session this weekend, for all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players.
The game mode on offer is not standard death match, but instead is an all new mode called Champion Hill and in it your squad — either a Duo (2v2) or Trio (3v3) during the Alpha — will compete in a round-robin deathmatch tournament against other squads. Your mission is to reduce all other squads’ life count to zero before your whole squad is eliminated.
The alpha can be downloaded starting tonight, with access into the game being allowed from 3am on August 28 and lasting for 3 days.
There is a wealth of information to be found on the games blog post about the alpha, so head over and give it a read, it also provides links for the download, though they are not active yet.
