Dead by Daylight announces a new chapter, new games and the inclusion of Nicolas Cage

Behaviour Interactive hosted a special livestream for Dead by Daylight, where they revealed the new horror that will hunt players, new games coming from other developers and Nicolas Cage.. wait.. yeah Nicolas Cage. The new chapter that players will get to enjoy next month is called End Transmission, check out the debut trailer for it below.

In End Transmissions, players will find themselves on a new Map, “Toba Landing,” which is set on a mysterious and terrifying planet. The Chapter takes players into a unique biome with menacing flora and an atmosphere unlike anything on Earth.

Of course a new location means new dangers and that might be more accurate than you realise as the newest Killer, “The Singularity,” is a monstrous amalgamation of restructured organic matter and machine parts seeking to become the perfect lifeform.

But fear not, or do, there is hope and that comes in the form of the new Survivor Gabriel Soma. Perhaps one of the best survivors around for dealing with a mostly machine enemy as he is a talented technician whose determination helped him escape The Singularity and avoid the terrible fate that befell his crew.

End Transmission will be available on June 13th for all platforms the game is released on.

Keeping within the realm of new content, Dead By Daylight is getting two new games. The first is going to be a single player narrative adventure game created by the folks at Supermassive Games. The game will be set in a new part of the Omniverse, with new characters to follow along with. More details on this game are expected later this year.

The second new game is from developer Midwinter Entertainment who is a studio that is owned by Behaviour Interactive. This game will be a multiplayer focused game where teams of four players join together, to invade one of the realms of the Entity and take down the hordes of enemies that call it home.

Both games are still very much in development, so there are no titles, platforms or release windows to share.

The final news that made an impact is that Nicolas Cage, the actor, will be coming to the game later this year as a playable survivor. More details on his inclusion will be released on July 5th, so there is quite a wait ahead.
