Deadpool 3 is coming in 2024 and bringing Wolverine with him
Deadpool was always going to appear in another movie, but with Disney buying up 20th Century Studios, the question was going to be, would it be the same Deadpool.
Confirmation at the time of the sale of then CEO Bob Iger, confirmed it would be R Rated, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that Deadpool would be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and would be R rated. Now we know when and who will be in the movie.
With Ryan Reynolds confirming his return, like it wouldn’t be him, but also that Hugh Jackman is set to return as Wolverine.

The movie will be directed by Shaun Levy, who directed Reynolds in Free Guy and The Adam Project, but also oversaw the Night at the Museum series. Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are back to pen this new film, having been the writers on the first two movies as well.
The big news is of course that Jackman is set to return as Wolverine, a role that he retired from back in 2016 when he played the character in Logan, in which spoiler alert he died. Details on how his character is coming back, or why he is, are not known, but it is great to see.
