Dragon Quest Monsters is celebrating 25 years with an all-new game

Square Enix recently hosted a livestream in Japan for Dragon Quest, which is now celebration 37 years. Part of the information revealed during the stream is that a new game in the Dragon Quest Monsters series is in development for Switch.

The video below is more of a quick look at the games in the series, the last main line entry was released back in 2016 as a Japan exclusive, with the last one we got way back in 2010. One might argue that some of the mechanics from the series were used in Dragon Quest Treasures last year, but that was its own thing.

As for the new game, there are no details other than its in development, but hey that is nice to hear at least.
