DualSense Edge is launching in January, giving PlayStation users more control
PlayStation have announced that the DualSense Edge, their version of the Xbox Elite controller, will be shipping globally on January 26th, giving players more control over their gaming experience on both PlayStation 5 and PC.
The DualSense Edge wireless controller features a host of hardware and software-based personalisation options, including button remapping, the ability to fine-tune stick sensitivity and triggers, options to swap between multiple control profiles, and a unique on-controller user interface. It also supports the signature comfort and immersive features of the DualSense wireless controller, like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Players can make the DualSense Edge wireless controller uniquely theirs with the included three changeable sets of stick caps and two changeable sets of back buttons. Everything will come bundled in the included carrying case, and players can even charge the controller via USB connection while it’s stored in the case to make sure it’s always ready for the next play session.
Below is the packaging that players will get, if they buy one. The only question is price as the US price is $199.99 plus tax, which right now means roughly $320 AUD, which could easily balloon up to a $400 once you add taxes and import fees to it and of course the Australia tax. While PlayStation Australia have confirmed the local release date, they have not confirmed the local price.
