Elgato is upping the control of the Stream Deck+ with two new add ons

Elgato have announced two new products for their Stream Deck+ device, which are designed to enhance its potential, depending on your needs. They are the XLR Dock and USB Hub, which will arrive into selected retailers starting on August 25th.

Update on pricing. Elgato have confirmed the local prices for both units here and that they will be available via the Amazon Elgato store in late August.

  • For just the USB Hub, the RRP is $109

  • For just the XLR Dock, the RRP is $209

  • For the XLR Dock and Stream Deck +, the RRP is $519

The USB Hub is the one that many might find useful as it gives you more ports. Around back, there’s room for up to four devices, from peripherals to external drives. It also powers a laptop, freeing the port they’d normally use for charging. Files transfer fast at speeds up to 5 Gb/s via USB-C, or using a convenient SD card reader on its side. Stream Deck + connects all this to the user’s computer with a single cable.

Installing it is simple, you just take off the bottom plate, plug it in via the USB-C port and then reattach the bottom plate. Two screws off and on is all you need to do. You can learn more about the USB Hub here.

For those who are more audio focused, the XLR Dock is where things are at. What this device does is take the existing Wave XLR dock functions, gives them a new shell and then connects to Stream Deck+. All the functions of the Wave XLR dock are here, including the 48V option and Elgato’s Clipguard feature, to help avoid distortion when that gaming moment requires screams of joy, or frustration.

Best of all, XLR Dock and Stream Deck + bring all your audio controls together. Not just hardware, but also your apps like Spotify or Discord. So you can mix, monitor, and do just about anything from a single device. It’s the ultimate audio station, offering unmatched flexibility to grow with your needs.

Installation on this one is even easier than the USB Hub, as all you need to do is unscrew the two screws from the existing plate, then plug this in via the USB-C port and then screw it in place. You can learn more about XLR Dock here.
