Embrace audio in a new way with the RIG 600 series of headsets this October

Nacon have announced that the next headset in the RIG series will be releasing In October, with the RIG 600 Pro Series bringing all the connections needed to work on all your devices.

When I say all, I don’t mean most but rather PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mobile. In addition to its multiplatform compatibility, the 600 PRO excels in performance, boasting a chat-optimized microphone that discreetly folds into the earcup when not in use. The integrated flip-to-mute function further enhances versatility, allowing gamers to take calls and communicate with their squad seamlessly.

As with all RIG headsets there are two models the 600 Pro HS is designed for PlayStation consoles, where the 600 Pro HX is designed for Xbox. It is important to note that either will work on the other, but they are optimised to work best on their branded one. The 600 Pro HX for example is equipped with Dolby Atmos as that is a feature that the Xbox supports.

For all other connections there is the Bluetooth, allowing you to connect your mobile, tablet or Switch. But the best part is that the headset supporting multiple connection methods means that you can just swap between them, so while gaming if someone calls you, you won’t have to take the headset off. There is also an included USB-C adaptor for all other devices, like a Switch, PlayStation 5 or PC, should you want to use it there.

As with all other headsets from RIG it is light at only 240g, but also very flexible, meaning you can just rotate the headset around in almost any direction and it will snap back. The flexibility also means it won’t squeeze your head.

Finally, the important part, battery life. The headset is rated to last 24 hours when using Bluetooth for connection and 18 hours via the 2.4GHz method. As for when they will be out, October 20th for us, but if you really can’t wait, North America will get them on September 18th.
