Fallout 4 is going next gen, next year with a free update for all

Showing that they do like to revisit older games, not that we didn’t know that, but Bethesda have announced that Fallout 4 is getting enhanced next year for next-gen and PC.

The details on just exactly what is being done are slim right now, but they have said this:

Coming in 2023, this free update will be available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC systems, including performance mode features for high frame rates, quality features for 4K resolution gameplay and even bonus Creation Club content!

A higher frame rate would be great, extra content is welcome as well, just as long as no more settlements require aid.. oh and some larger build spots would be great.

Fallout 4 did get an upgrade for Xbox One X, which gave it a resolution boost up to 4K, keeping the game at 30fps and the Xbox Series platforms can run the game at 60fps, but without the 4K boost, thanks to the consoles FPS Boost mode.

This of course is seemingly going to be a native next-gen edition, rather than just some frame boost via the console/pc. That being said, we will need to wait for more details to be announced for this, before we get to excited.
