Overnight Square Enix dropped a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI, the next chapter in the beloved saga, which is on track to release as a PlayStation 5 exclusive sometime in the Winter months of 2023.

The trailer shows off some of the backstory that players will get to enjoy, including the realm of Valisthea and its rich cast of characters they will encounter in the game, including Dominants – single men and women who are blessed with the ability to call upon a dread power, which is unlike anything ever seen in the series.
