Forza Motorsport has been given a massive update that changes the game
A massive new update for Forza Motorsport has been released that changes the game in a big way, as well as bringing in a new featured tour, new cars and new multiplayer events. Check out the trailer below to get a quick rundown of what this newest update is bringing drivers.
The biggest update is that of Car Progression, which prior to the update meant that players were restricted in what parts could be applied to what cars, based on the car level. This was not an issue if you stuck with one car for quite a while, but swap to a new car and with the level back at 1, you could no longer use level 2 parts or any further up.
The change is that now that restriction has been removed. This means for all level 1 cars, any part can be installed, so engine swaps, new tyres, body kits and everything else, there is no limit to what you can do, oh except for money, you still need to buy them.
The second change is actually around that, well sort of. Players can use in-game Credits to acquire Car Points when exiting the upgrade screen at a ratio of 4,500 Credits for 500 Car Points. This change gives you a choice to immediately upgrade your car using Credits, or if you're saving your Credits, you can earn Car Points for upgrades through car levelling as before.
A much more detailed breakdown can be found here, if you are wanting to know everything.
Car Pass Update 6 also brings new cars to players, with 30 new to Motorsport cars arriving each week, until the pass is complete. These are the cars coming over the next four weeks.
