Disney has announced that the second half of season 11, or what they are calling season 12 of Futurama will arrive onto Disney+ this July 29 and in celebration of that we have a new trailer. Check it out.

The last ‘season’ had 10 episodes and this is likely to be the same, which would account for the 20 episode order that was first placed. The cast includes the regulars John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil Lamar and David Herman. There were a few characters in the trailer that are familiar and had a special voice or two, so we will have to wait and see if they are the same ones.

As for the show, this is the synopsis that has been provided:

On this orbit around the sun, our occasionally heroic crew embarks on mind-bending adventures involving birthday party games to the death, the secrets of Bender's ancestral robot village, A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the true 5 million-year-old story behind the consciousness-altering substance known as coffee. And, of course, the next chapter in Fry and Leela's fateful, time-twisted romance.
