Nintendo have announced that the final part of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass will arrive next week on the 26th and send players back in time, to enjoy a new story with some new and familiar faces.

Set before the events of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 game, players join a cast of new and familiar characters in an original story scenario that connects all three installments in the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Here are two familiar faces, Shulk from the first game and Rex from the second, you can tell some time has passed as neither look like young kids.

Future Redeemed also features new battle mechanics, such as Unity Combo, where two characters can attack in unison. The exact details for that haven’t been announced though. What was announced is that the amiibo for Pyra and Mythra are getting a reprint in July and new amiibo for Noah and Mio are in development.

For now, enjoy some new character art and look for the expansion to arrive next week. Just a note, it is only available to owners of the expansion pass, so it will not be sold on its own.
