Guilty Gear -Strive- is coming to Switch in January

Bandai Namco and developer Arc System Works have announced that on January 23rd, fights on Nintendo Switch are going to get a whole lot more animated, as Guilt Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition will be released then. Check out the reveal trailer for the Switch version of the game below.

The game first released for PlayStation consoles and PC back in 2021 and since then has released 3 Season Passes, each bringing new fighters to the game. As such, when the Switch version launches, it will come with all 28 fighters available to the game. A fourth Season Pass was just announced, there is no word on if it will come to Switch though.

While the game offers crossplay on its other platforms, the Switch release will not offer that, it will however include rollback netcode, which has become the standard for all fighting games.

The game is getting a physical release on Switch as well, but local retailers don’t have listings at this time.
