Hades 2 will launch into early access in the second quarter of 2024
It has been almost a year since Supergiant Games revealed that Hades 2 was in development and since then the studio has been very quiet on its status, but that has changed today, as they have released a new development update.
The big news for the update is that the game is aiming to enter its Early Access period sometime in the second quarter of 2024, which means it could be April 1st or June 30th, or anywhere in between. The reason for the delay until the early access period begins, as provided in the update:
The reason is, Hades II will have at least as much content from day one in Early Access as the original game did back when it launched in Early Access on Steam. And, even though Early Access inherently means a game is not yet complete, we still want to do everything we can to make sure Hades II is worth your while as soon as you can play it in any capacity.
If you somehow missed the reveal trailer back from 2022, you can watch it below, but for now the only other thing you can do is read the full dev update and maybe add the game to your wishlist.
