Hit the courts again as TopSpin 2K25 hits back with Season 3

It has been a while since we got a season for TopSpin 2K25, but that will change this week as Season 3 is ready to hit center court again. This time players will welcome a new player, a new alternate era player, a new tournament and much more.

Season 3 of TopSpin 2K25 welcomes the Laver Cup, featuring a showdown between Team Europe and Team World. Upon attaining "Young Gun" status in MyCAREER, players are eligible to participate in the Laver Cup, a playable event within the Men's Tour segment of MyCAREER, scheduled for the in-game September. Competing as a team across several days, players engage in matches either as their MyPLAYER or as a professional. Team Europe boasts players such as Sinner and Alcaraz, while Team World is represented by Tiafoe and Shelton, with additional spots filled by default MyPLAYERs. The event consists of four daily matches—three singles and one doubles—with the possibility of a tiebreaker doubles match on the final day if the teams are tied. Victories each day earn incremental points, starting from one and increasing to three, and the first team to accumulate 13 points claims the coveted Laver Cup trophy and the associated glory.

Players who have attained Legend status in MyCAREER and seek further challenges can strive for G.O.A.T. status in Season 3, which is only accessible after completing all previous objectives. This status is not static; it requires players to continuously overcome new challenges and objectives each season to retain it. G.O.A.T. status is distinguished by a comprehensive set of goals across Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers, unlike the usual 3-5 goals of other statuses. Advancing through these tiers grants players distinct rewards on both the Men's and Women's Tours in MyCAREER, providing unique incentives and challenges that are specific to each player's path.

Each edition of the TopSpin 2K25 Centre Court Pass includes 50 reward tiers, with 13 offering free rewards. The Season 3 Centre Court Pass, sponsored by American Express, features 42 free and 106 premium rewards. These include American Express-branded cosmetics and accessories, such as rackets, wristbands, shorts, skirts, and jackets. Free Tiers 5 and 50 provide alternate versions of Steffi Graf's outfits from the Australian Open 1997 and Wimbledon 1991. Additionally, the Premium Centre Court Pass offers Naomi Osaka's 2020 US Open attire at Tier 30 and Taylor Fritz's US Open 2024 gear at Tier 50, giving these playable characters new looks. The Pro Shop Seasonal Store will also introduce a variety of new items, alongside fresh Signature Style Animations and Alternate Pro Outfits.

The game is out for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
