Capcom revealed Monster Hunter Wilds in December 2023, they said then we wouldn’t see the game until the middle of 2024 and after a few trailers, they said they were done. That it turns out, was a lie as they have released four videos in just a few days and have more to come.

The first video is a run down of the basic mechanics, slinger functions, and abilities while riding a Seikret, you can watch it below.

The second video is around a new mechanic coming to the series, Focus Mode. This new addition will let players target specific parts of their prey, in order to score extra damage. Use Focus Strikes to unleash special attacks for big damage to wounds & weak points.

Finally, well at least for now, the final two videos are around two of the weapons that players can opt to fight with, the Great Sword and the Heavy Bowgun, you can watch them below.

The game is coming out in 2025 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, but there is no firm date yet.
