Order up! Samurai Pizza Cats are serving up a new adventure

Red Dunes Games and developer Blast Zero have announced that the 90s are back, as Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past! is coming in 2026. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.
Designed as a 2D action RPG, the game allows players to seamlessly switch between members of the Pizza Cats, utilising their unique abilities to solve puzzles and engage in thrilling battles within the world of Little Tokyo. This is not their first time in the world of games, but it is the first one to come to the West, as Kyatto Ninden Teyandee was a Japan only game, officially.
Explore the adventurous overworld of Little Tokyo where you battle fierce enemies to level up your characters and obtain special cards which can be equipped to expand your combat abilities.
Perhaps the best news, the English cast includes Rick Jones (Speedy Cerviche), Sonja Ball (Polly Esther), Terrence Scammell (Guido Anchovy, Narrator) and Dean Hagopian as Seymour “The Big” Cheese. If those names seem familiar to you, that is because those are the actors who played the roles originally.
The game is coming to PC, Switch, Xbox and PlayStation sometime in 2026, so there is a wait ahead.
We are big fans of the Samurai Pizza Cats here, we even reviewed their DVD collection when it released 12 years ago.
