PlayStation Plus: September delivers some massive games
The games for PlayStation Plus Essential have been announced by PlayStation and include two games that should give you a lot to play for many months. But there is also some sad news.
PlayStation have announced that all 12 month plans for PlayStation Plus, so Essentials, Extra and Deluxe will cost you more. For existing members, the price change won’t impact your yearly resubmit until November 6, meaning if your 12 month sub renews on November 5, you will still pay the current price.
The increase will take effect on September 6th, so the same day the below games go live, meaning if you have not yet subscribed, there is still time to get in on the cheaper offerings. But what are the new prices?
Here is the breakdown with the current price against the new price.
Essentials - $79.95 now - $95.95 starting Sep 6
Extra - $134.95 now - $169.95 starting Sep 6
Deluxe - $154.95 now - $196.95 starting Sep 6
Seeing a roughly $30-$40 increase across the plans is a bit of a hard pill to swallow, when there is no actual increase to your return, but maybe that will change.
