Returnal has a new trailer, making that wait a little easier
During the recent State of Play event from PlayStation, Housemarque showed off a new trailer for their upcoming title, Returnal, confirming the games release date of April 30, check it out.
After crash-landing on this shape-shifting world, Selene must search through the barren landscape of an ancient civilization for her escape. Isolated and alone, she finds herself fighting tooth and nail for survival. Again and again, she’s defeated – forced to restart her journey every time she dies.
Given the studios pedigree with action games and a lot of challenge, don’t expect any easy loop at any point, because this is a 3rd person bullet hell.
But while the game might be challenging, the game will also give you time to learn about Selene, because with each death, you have to start over from scratch, keeping what you learnt and nothing else.
