Samsung unveil new ways to watch and listen

Samsung Australia have announced a new wave of devices coming throughout 2024 that will offer new ways to watch and listen to your content, including a music themed version of their popular Frame TV.

Sticking with the Music Frame, an all-new device that takes the look of the Frame TV and shrinks it down to a wall mountable piece of audio equipment, this new device is set to marry audio and artistic design like never before. As the device is inspired by the Frame TV, the Music Frame will let users display their own art on the device, or photos from a trip and even album art, all the while the the device delivers audio through six 3-way speakers.

You can pair the device to your mobile or other Wi-Fi or Bluetooth enabled device, letting you play your music through it, but it can also be paired to the 2024 line up of TVs, letting it act as another speaker. Get a pair of them and you can use them to give you surround sound.

For those looking for a larger display, there is the all new Samsung Neo QLED 8K Smart TV, which as you might have guessed from the name included 8K AI Upscaling. It also features 200Hz as a refresh rate, along with 10 times the amount of lighting zones compared to their 4K displays. This means that the light will only go where it needs to, resulting in a crisper image.

All the tech specs and AI features can be found here, but prices will vary depending on the screen size you opt to go for. The cheapest is $5,569 for a 65inch and the most expensive, also the one with all the bells and whistles comes in at $13,900.

For those looking for a more affordable option, there is the Samsung Neo QLED 4K Smart TV, which apart from being in 4K still offers a lot of tech. The big upgrade for this TV in 2024 is that a lot of the tech innovations from the 2023 8K display have made the jump, including AI upscaling, 200hz refresh rate and a whole lot more.

You can learn more about the TV here, but just know while the starting price for this TV is less than above, there is a screen size that is just insane. The starting price is $4,668 for the 65inch TV, but if you want the biggest that would be the 98inch display, which is priced at $15,152. Yes that display is roughly 2.5m on the angle, it is a beast.

If those options were not enough for you, there is also the Samsung OLED 4K Smart TV, which comes in two designs. the S95D offering up glare free tv, as its the first Glare-Free OLED certified TV ever. Finally, we have the Q-Series Soundbar, Q990D, which boasts an 11.1.4-channel setup with Wireless Dolby Atmos. IT has innovations such as Sound Grouping for pulsating, room-filling sound, and an option for personal listening that allows users to enjoy their content through compatible rear speakers without disturbing others.

For those who want to save a bit of cash there is the S800D soundbar, which continues to deliver exceptional audio quality in an unbelievably sleek and space-saving design.
