Session: Skate Sim will kick flip and more when it lands this September

Nacon and developer Crea-ture Studios have confirmed that Session: Skate Sim, which is out in Early Access on PC and Game Preview on Xbox, will be arriving here on September 22nd. With that confirmation comes a brief, but wicked trailer, check it out.

The main reason to be excited for this game, is that it will take players back to the 90’s, when skateboarding really took off and all those surfaces that were once just architectural, were now the perfect place to perform tricks from.

With the game offering, what they call ‘ultra-realistic physics’, players will have greater control over their time on their board, something that should appease die hard skate sim fans. How are they doing this? The game uses a system called the ‘True Stance Stick’ which assigns a foot to each stick of the controller and while that may sound easy, the game will kick your butt early on, as it teaches you this new way of playing.

With a learning curve that is just as demanding as in real life, players have to practise how to control their board and pull off all the different stunts available in the game, from the simplest to the most complicated. The integrated editing tool lets each player immortalise their greatest achievements on video.

As the game has been in early access for a while, a lot of feedback from community has been incorporated into the game, meaning that the experience you will get on September 22nd, will be the best it can possibly be.

The game will be launching on PC, as well as Xbox and PlayStation platforms and orders can be placed at most retail stores today.
