Steam Deck will get a White version at launch here, for a limited time only
Valve have announced that when Steam Deck goes on sale in Australia on November 19th, at 10am AEDT, alongside the three versions that were announced, a new limited time offering of a White OLED model will be available.
The White model will be exactly the same as the Black model 1 tb OLED, as both have the same storage, same screen, same specs inside and even the same RRP, which is $1,049.00 in Australia. The only difference is that it has a white case.
Now there is some good news and bad news for this, the good news is that on November 19, when all the models go up for sale, it will be an option. However the bad news is that it is limited and the stock will be provided based on region limits, ie America is going to get more stock than Australia, so you will want to get in early if you want one. Once this version is gone, there will be no more made by Valve, so just be aware of that.
