Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical has got a release date and more platforms
Summerfall Games have announced that Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical will arrive on PC on August 3rd, but as part of the release date announcement, the game was also confirmed to be coming to consoles on the same day.
The consoles in question are… all of them. The game will hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, all on the same day. As for what the game is all about, here is the synopsis provided by the developers.
In a modern fantasy world, college dropout Grace is granted the power of a Muse - power she’ll need to find out the truth behind her predecessor’s death before time runs out. You’ll decide who Grace allies with, who she can trust, and who may betray her in this beautifully hand-illustrated roleplaying musical.
The game has new songs composed by Austin Wintory and local folks might recognise Tripod, as they are also working on music for the game, but that is not all as Montaigne will also be involved.
The cast is also very talented with Laura Bailey (The Last of Us 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man), Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Uncharted 4) and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Steven Universe, Resident Evil) just being a few of them.
