Street Fighter comes to Brawlhalla today
Ubisoft have announced that Brawlhalla is getting some serious fighters, with Street Fighter being the next crossover for the free to play fighter and the best news, the update is out now.
The new update will bring three iconic characters to the fight, but also a new game mode, which will only be around for a limited time, first the characters:
Ryu - Epic Crossover for Petra - Ryu is always trying to find the next strongest opponent to better himself.Many of his iconic techniques have been brought over to Brawlhalla, like the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, Shoryuken, and Hadoken. Players might need more training to defeat him.
Chun-Li - Epic Crossover for Wu Shang - This incredibly powerful warrior is sure to teach her opponents a thing or two about how to take a kick.
Akuma - Epic Crossover for Val - Focused on defeating the gods, the Master of the Fist is ready to make them truly tremble to pieces.
The addition of these fighters, also brings with it a new in-game event featuring a new game mode called Street Brawl; which will have players fight Street Fighter-style, with health bars to show who will be the first to fall in the 2-D fighter setting.
A new K.O. Effect featuring the iconic, Street Fighter-inspired K.O. text will be available along with a new 1v1 map based on Suzaku Castle will also be added. The game mode will only be around for a while, but the characters will be obtainable long after that.
Brawlhalla is out for all platforms, so Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, PC and mobile and supports cross-play
