The Big Stories You May Have Missed Last Week

Each week there are a lot of news stories that come through, some are massive enough that they generate conversation, then there are those that can just slide on by.

Last week was all about PlayStation, from game reveals to detailed looks into games coming soon and of course, the future of PlayStation. There was a smattering of other news though, so if you are so inclined, we have the news on the site to enjoy as well.


PlayStation Has Acquired Bungie For $3.6b Dollars, But Bungie Is Staying Multiplatform

While not quite as insane as the Microsoft buy a few weeks ago, PlayStation and Bungie coming together is still big news, more so when you consider that at one point, Bungie was a Microsoft studio. Still, given the lack of detail, there is still so much we don’t know and while they do claim they will be multiplatform, there is no confirmation on what those will be.

Ghostwire: Tokyo Has Been Dated And Is Coming Out This March

Initially leaked by PlayStation, Bethesda did confirm that the game was coming on March 25th for both PlayStation 5 and PC, having show a deep dive into the gameplay video as well. We also got to see the game last month and have a preview on it here.

Like the rising of the sun we are getting a new MLB The Show this year and like last year, the game is also coming to Xbox platforms. Unlike last year though, this year will see the title come to Switch, ensuring that America’s pastime can be enjoyed on all platforms, complete with cross-play support.
