After weeks of Directs and buyouts, last week was the first week of the year, that wasn’t packed with news coming in from all sides, but there was still some news worth paying attention to, so here are the stories you may have missed from the week that was.

Babylon's Fall drops a new combat trailer and a demo for console
Live services games happen in one of two ways, they either were not planned and become so successful that the developer pivots to support them, or they are planned from the outset and have to impress on players why they should care. Babylon’s Fall is the second in that group and has a few advantages over most, first up is that combat is done by Platinum Games, so it will be good and second is that a demo is out now for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, with all progress to carry across to the full game.
