After more than a decade since the last time we saw Guybrush Threepwood, Monkey Island is charting a course for later in the year, with series creator Ron Gilbert back in control and creating Return to Monkey Island. The game is going to ignore Monkey Island 3 and beyond, slotting itself in after the events of Monkey Island 2: Le’Chucks Revenge.

Remedy Games have announced that on behalf of Rockstar Games, they are remaking both Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, marking the first time a developer has remade their own game. The games are coming to next-gen only consoles and PC, but no date as to when.
