The Birdman is back this July with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 + 4 revealed

Perhaps one of the worst kept secrets has been confirmed with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 being officially revealed and coming this July 11 for all platforms. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

Yes, unlike the first game which took a while to hit all platforms, this time the game will release on Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Switch on the same day, with the game also launching into Game Pass Ultimate.

The highlights of what is included in this remake are new skaters, new parks and a host of familiar tricks. It also features the career mode people like, an updated skate park maker, new game+ and cross-platform multiplayer, which supports up to eight skaters at a time.

There won’t be long until players can sample the goods, as a demo featuring the Foundry stage, seen below, will arrive in June. It will also include another stage, which is not yet named and a small selection of songs. Just one thing of note, the demo will not be available on the Switch.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 brings the perfect mix of classic and new, adding new skaters to the lineup and new tricks to discover. Create your own skater with in-depth customization options for hair, tattoos, makeup, and more. Pick your skater’s name, hometown, and skating style and start making a name for yourself.

An in-game tutorial led by Tony Hawk himself will get you off to a good start with lessons on the all-important Ollie, kick flips, vert tricks, grinds, reverts, manuals, special tricks and everything you need to become a high score skater, all while rocking out to songs from the original soundtrack and new music.

The game is going to be available in a standard release and a Digital Deluxe, which will also include two new skaters, DOOM Slayer and Revenant, along with a host of DOOM music, decks and gear. You can see most of what is on offer via the infographic below and the trailer will show it in action.

The game is coming on July 11 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Early access will be granted for those who buy the digital deluxe edition, meaning the game lands on July 8.
