During the Electronic Arts Investor Day event, it was confirmed that Respawn Entertainment are heading back to a galaxy far, far away as they are creating the final chapter of the Star Wars Jedi series.

Now there is of course no word on when its going to release or what platforms it might release on, but given there was 4 years between Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, 2027 would be a likely release year. It could also be sooner as the studio has more staff now that the Star Wars FPS game has been cancelled.

Either way, the news comes as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases on last-gen consoles, so the force is strong with this one
