The mystery of humanity in space is alive and well and coming to in Deliver Us Mars

Frontier Foundry, the indie publishing arm of Frontier and developers KeokeN Interactive have announced Deliver Us Mars, a follow up games to 2019’s Deliver Us The Moon, check out the reveal trailer for it below.

The teaser trailer doesn’t give us a lot of details, as a good teaser should, but we do get glimpses, for example there has been a crash, with apparently only a single survivor. Scattered around the crash site is a bunch of scrap metal and one piece in particular gains the players attention, Ayla the robot, something that will be familiar to players of the first game.

Set 10 years after Deliver Us The Moon’s Fortuna mission, Deliver Us Mars expands on the events of its predecessor, building on its more grounded approach to sci-fi storytelling while enriching the gameplay experience. While fans of the original will appreciate the deep connections between the games, this gripping adventure stands on its own, offering a compelling entry point for new players as well. Players can look forward to numerous new mechanics in this sequel, including a climbing system that will enable their character to readily traverse the terrain of Mars.

“Joining forces with Frontier Foundry enables KeokeN Interactive to fully achieve the goals and ambitions we set ourselves for Deliver Us Mars,” say KeokeN Interactive co-founders Koen and Paul Deetman. “We are extremely excited about this partnership, knowing the sci-fi specialists at Frontier are looking over our shoulder.”

There is no release date for this yet, or even a window, but we do know that the game will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 as well as PC for Steam and the Epic Games Store, with PC players able to wishlist it on both stores today.
