Total War: Pharaoh welcomes the Canaanites to the fight
Sega and developer Creative Assembly have released another faction deep dive for Total War: Pharaoh, this time focusing on Canaanite, a part of Egypt that is likely unknown to many, check it out.
The leaders of this faction are Irsu and Bay, with the former seeking acquire all they can and the latter seeking to spread influence and more.
The games official website has more details about each of the leaders, as well as their armies and regions and if you are interested, be sure to check it out. Bit of a random fact, but if you are a Stargate SG-1 fan and remember the Goa'uld Ba’al, his character was based off Baal, who was the god of fertility, or reproduction/childbirth, as well as the god of rain and storms, but the worship of Baʿal in Canaan— led to his eventual supplantation of El as the leader of the gods and patron of kingship.
