Ultracore is bringing the 90's back in a great way

Originally cancelled back in 1994, this Mega Drive game was likely to never see the light of day, but ININ have announced it will, as Ultracore is now the completed release Hardcore and will hit Switch and PlayStation 4 this week.

In addition to those platforms, a Vita release is also planned for later in the year, giving one final breath to that platform and what a breath it will be.

“I know the care, love, sweat and hard work that went into creating Hardcore in the first place by all involved parties. Thus, I think it is fantastic that this product finally gets to see the light of day and for people to be able to play it.” – Fredrik Liljegren, one of the 4 founders of DICE.

Packed with ultimate action in 5 large stages with various weapons to collect and use to fight your enemies, the thrilling run & gun platformer from the 90s. The game was also completed on a Mega Drive development kit, making it as authentic as it could possibly be.
