Unihack 2025 is this weekend and will showcase local ingenuity

This weekend, the 12th year of Unihack kicks off, with over 600 students from around Australia taking part, showing off their techpertise. Over an intense 48-hour hybrid event, teams will design, build, and pitch a working prototype—whether it be a website, mobile app, video game, or hardware solution. The only rule? It must work when presented.

Unihack is a non-profit organisation driven entirely by dedicated volunteers. Each year, we welcome tertiary students from across ANZ to take part in the competition, providing them with a dynamic and supportive environment to explore their potential alongside their peers

All of this sounds like a fun event right, it gets even better. Not only have past winners gone on to work for companies like Canva, AWS, and Google, but there are prizes to be won. You can view the prizes here, along with the criteria for what the judges will be looking for.

The action is taking place at Monash University down in Melbourne and at UNSW Kensington, so there are more chances to take part.
