Valkyrie Elysium gets a demo, letting PlayStation players get a taste of what is to come
Square Enix have announced that ahead of the release of Valkyrie Elysium later this month on both PlayStation consoles, fans can download a demo today and get a taste of the action to come.
The best news however is that the progress you make in the demo, will carry across to the full game, should you purchase that. Check out the games most recent trailer below.
One strange little thing that they are calling out as part of the news is that save data does not transfer across the generations, meaning that you can’t play the demo on PlayStation 4 and then buy the game on PlayStation 5 and have your progress come across with you.
There is also no way of transferring data from one console to the other, so if you are someone who wants to get the full game and you want to try the demo, you had best make sure both are for the same console.
The game is coming to PC in November, but there is no demo announced for that platform at this time. Valkyrie Elysium will arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 29th, so only a few weeks to go.
