Wizards of the Coast is bringing a little magic to PAX Australia 2024

Wizards of the Coast have confirmed their line up for PAX Australia 2024, in which Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering will invite players in.

Kicking things off with Magic the Gathering, attendees can enjoy the game in a casual manner, or join in on one the official tournaments happening during the show. If you have never played a game or need a refresher on it, you can also take part in some lessons for the game.

Across the 3 days of the show, you can take part in the various offerings, the schedule below will give you an idea on when you need to be there:

Friday 11 October:

But what about if your interest aligns more with Dungeons & Dragons, well there is still lots to enjoy across the show. This is what the team have planned:

  • Learn-to-play: The best way to play or budding adventurers looking to take their first step into the world of Dungeons & Dragons! Learn the basics of the game with a team of experienced dungeon masters who’ll have you swinging swords and casting spells in no time. Swing by at any point during the show to start rolling dice straight away!

  • Paint and take: Players looking to upgrade their experience with minis and customise their own character should head straight to the paint-and-take section! Unleash your artistic side, whether you’re a veteran mini painter or completely new to the craft. Visit the paint and take area for D&D at any point throughout the show and you’ll be able to walk home with a miniature of your very own!
