Nintendo promised that the Switch 2 Direct would take place on April 2 in all their videos and they lied. Because here in Australia and in New Zealand, the event will take place at 12am and 2am on the 3rd, why, because Nintendo hate us.

Yes, Nintendo have announced the start time for the Switch 2 Direct and as was expected, Australia - well most of it, is getting screwed over on the time. Given Japan as a country does not do early mornings, it was never going to be an AM event for them, and while we knew better, we hoped it would be at a good time for us. But once again Nintendo are content to screw over our region, just to make the Americans happy
