Final Fantasy XV At PAX Prime

Square Enix had a big presence at PAX Prime over the weekend and took to the stage on Sunday to talk about a lot of their upcoming games, one of which was Final Fantasy XV

Director Hajime Tabata also revealed new assets and showcased a video message from Avalanche Studios Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer Christofer Sundberg.

“We’re proud of our technical capabilities and the work we’ve done to help shape the open-world genre,” said Sundberg. “We hold the FINAL FANTASY franchise, and the team working on it, in such high regard and are excited to be a part of the next chapter.”

They also reconfirmed that the game will release in 2016, but a more defined time frame was not provided.
