New Super Mario Maker Goodness Coming December 22nd

Nintendo has announced an update is coming to Super Mario Maker, which will add a range of new features and creative options for building the levels.

Along side the new elements for course creation, the new web based search function is going live on the same day. This will allow you to locate courses no matter where you are and have them available for you to play when you get home.

On top of these new ways to find and create courses, fans can also look forward to more Event Courses that, once cleared, each unlock a new Costume Mario to use. Currently available costumes include Frog Mario and the Mario Trio from Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros., while a new Nintendo Badge Arcade Event Course will be available from today.
