New Gameplay Enhancements Are Coming To The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD
Nintendo has released new details about the upcoming HD version of The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.
Players who use the Wii U Gamepad to play the game will be able to mange their inventory on the fly, access the map and transform at will, all without having to pause the game. Players will also have the ability to share posts to Miiverse, using stamps that are hidden within the game world.
The game now sports a new difficulty, Hero Mode, which will allow veterans of the series, those familiar with the game, or just those seeking a harder challenge, to experience the world like never before. In Hero Mode, Link will take double damage from all enemies and while you can use potions to replenish your hearts, you won't be able to do so by collecting hearts around the world as they will no longer appear.
What makes this even harder is that the entire game world will be flipped, meaning when you would normally go left, you now need to go right, even Dungeons will be different, so there is no telling what you might experience. But if you want to take it even further, scanning in the Ganondorf amiibo will double the damage taken, so if you are playing in normal mode, you will take double damage, but if you are already in hero mode, you will take a staggering four times damage.
The game supports even more tweaks and features, like larger wallets and more, but players will need to experience the world themselves if they wish to uncover all that is new and they shall be able to do that when, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD is released on March 5th
