Fae Farm has revealed its post launch plans
Phoenix Labs, the folks behind Dauntless, are getting ready to release their charming and cozy game Fae Farm onto Switch and PC, the release is so close we have a launch trailer now. But the bigger news is that the post release content plans have been announced.
At a high level, additions to the game after launch will include new places to discover, new characters to befriend and romance, new creatures, new stories, and more.
But where it gets interesting is that on Switch, all future Fae Farm content packs will be free, on PC only those players who buy the Deluxe Edition will get the first two as part of that. Now with over 100 hours of gameplay available new content won’t be in demand right away, with the first pack coming on December 2023 and the second in June 2024, but it is still weird to see Switch get some big support.
Of course, given that the game offers a full story campaign, hundreds of items to craft and collect, and a vast array of crops to grow, fish and critters to catch, and a lovingly handcrafted world to explore, the idea of extra content may not be all that appealing right now, but it is nice to know its coming.
