JBL Quantum is miking up the world with a series of microphones for all occasions
JBL Quantum have made a name for themselves with their gaming headsets and occasional speaker offerings, but now they are ready to listen to what you have to say with their new line up of microphones, the Quantum Stream Talk, Quantum Stream Studio and Quantum Stream Wireless.
The three products are all different and aimed at different folks, but all three products include condenser microphones, giving them a flat and wide frequency response as well as lighter weight construction than competitors.
Quantum Stream Studio
The biggest offering around is the Quantum Stream Studio, which contains three specially designed condenser microphones and a 192 kHZ/24 bits broadcast quality sampling rate.
That means that the mic will be great for those who are gaming on their own, either via Discord with a friend or on Twitch to everyone, or when recording an in-room podcast with a few folks around it. Optimal sound capture is also supported by the mic’s universal mounting solution, which allows users to mount the mic to their preference.
An RGB-lit volume meter provides users with a visual cue of the sound level, while the Quantum Stream Studio's dynamic range compressor prevents distortion in loud noises during recordings, calls, or streams and boosts softer sounds for a clearer recording experience.
All that tech comes at a price as the RRP is $199.95
Quantum Stream Talk
The Quantum Stream Talk is the introductory model in the series, which when paired with the JBL QuantumENGINE PC software, it will enable users to tailor the microphone's EQ for their specific environment. Its shock-absorbing base and supercardioid pickup pattern are designed to deliver recordings free of background noise, making it ideal for individual streaming.
This is the starting option, so the RRP reflects that at $59.95
Quantum Stream Wireless Lightning
The Quantum Stream Wireless is a versatile, wearable device perfect for creators who are always moving. It features an omnidirectional pattern that captures high-quality sound from all directions. Its lightweight, clip-on design ensures portability, while the environmental noise cancellation guarantees recordings are clear, free from disruptions caused by ambient noise.
It comes in two flavours, a Lightning connection and a USB-C connection, so you can pair the one you need to the phone you have. The two pictures below are from the Lighting version.
Quantum Stream Wireless USB-C
The two pictures below are from the USB-C version.
Both the Quantum Stream Wireless Lightning and Quantum Stream Wireless USB-C have a RRP of $149.95
