TopSpin 2K25 courts new details with its latest report
2K have released more details about the upcoming TopSpin 2K25, specifically around the modes that players will be able to enjoy, you can check out the video below to get a good overview.
TopSpin Academy is a place where players can master the essential mechanics of gameplay. Under the guidance of tennis legend John McEnroe's voice, the academy offers Basic Lessons to demonstrate fundamentals like positioning, timing, and shot selection. This is followed by Advanced Lessons, which teach techniques including power serves and lob shots, as well as Playstyle Lessons that highlight the strengths and weaknesses of different playstyles that players can adopt for their custom MyPLAYER.
Players may then wish to jump into Exhibition matches. Offline Exhibition matches include single player singles or single player doubles with an AI partner, as well as local multiplayer singles or doubles with human partners, supporting up to four players. Online Exhibition multiplayer with skill-based random matchmaking will also be available at launch, supporting cross-platform play, with multiplayer between friends planned for the near future.
For players who have honed their skills at TopSpin Academy and tested themselves in Exhibition matches, three paths await: the 2K Tour, MyCAREER, and the World Tour. In the 2K Tour, players choose a licensed professional and compete online against another player's chosen pro. Daily, featured professionals and specific objectives give players the chance to accumulate points and ascend the 2K Tour leaderboard.
