Mafia: Definitive Edition is a complete remake
While only announced last night, a leak via the Microsoft store has released a few more details for the Mafia Trilogy, specifically around the original Mafia title. Coming as part of the trilogy, this game is not a remaster, but a complete remake of the title that started the series.
Re-made from the ground up, rise through the ranks of the Mafia during the Prohibition era of organized crime. After a run-in with the mob, cab driver Tommy Angelo is thrust into a deadly underworld. Initially uneasy about falling in with the Salieri crime family, Tommy soon finds that the rewards are too big to ignore.
The game has been faithfully recreated, from top to bottom, but more than that, some new story, gameplay and music have been added to the game, giving you a little more than you might remember.
The game is currently dated for August 28, and is coming to Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and Google Stadia.
