New story details and historical insights are here for Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft have released a story trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, that gives a firmer sense as to why Eivor and his Viking friends leave Norway, check it out.

Driven from Norway by endless wars and dwindling resources, Eivor’s clan must secure a future among the kingdoms of England. During their journey, Eivor will come across the Hidden Ones, and face powerful figures including Saxon kings and the warmongering sons of Ragnar Lothbrok, as well as a mysterious, growing threat that could determine England’s destiny”.

In addition, Ubisoft announced Echoes of Valhalla, a podcast documentary series starting today that unveils the historical background of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. In Echoes of Valhalla, Vikings tell their very own story to give a new voice to the warriors who have travelled and shaped the world. Comedians, well-known experts and reconstructed scenes will bring to life the glorious eras of the people of the North, relating the story of the Vikings as you have never heard before.

The game is launching on November 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox Series X and Series S, with it releasing on November 12 for PlayStation 5.
